Thoughts on Mark McGwire and Steriods in general

Recently, Mark McGwire admitted he did steriods. Well, duh! Really did he think we were fooled, like Barry Bonds thinks he fooled us? Hey I’m a fan of McGwire, I think there should be a steriod era Hall of Fame. Even with injuries, I believe McGwire would have made the Hall.

It’s sad that he and so many others chose the path they did. The worst part is that the decisions these players made effect more than just the individual. I’ve had friends come up and say, “well how do you think Cal Ripken played so many games in a row”. I don’t believe he ever touched the stuff, but because so many stars did it, there is doubt in some peoples mind.

I do believe that these guys should be punished and think that if the writers allow cheaters in the Hall, than they have no choice but to allow Shoeless Joe Jackson and Pete Rose. There is no way you can say well, we will allow these cheaters, but we will not allow someone who ripped off a gambler and someone who bet on his own team.

So that’s the first post about this subject and will not be the last.

hahahha…video opinions coming soon.
